I'll be honest...I like books with sexytimes. It's one of the reasons authors like Nora Roberts and Heather Graham have been among my favourites for years. Those ladies know how to write a steamy love scene mixed with a great story. I haven't read much straight-up erotica, but I do like a good hot-and-heavy sex scene. I remember when people used to say 'If it makes you blush, you shouldn't write it'. I thought 'Well, I'm screwed then', because I'm shy and it was hard for me to imagine ever writing an intimate encounter. Then I realized those make-you-pant scenes that are so hot they nearly scorch the pages were some of my favourites in the books I read, so why shouldn't I write them too? So I did.
